Registered Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapists are health care professionals under Health Canada. They have over 2700 hours of training including 350 hours of practicum with RMT supervision. Registered Massage Therapists are health care professionals under Health Canada. They have over 2700 hours of training including 350 hours of practicum with RMT supervision. Education includes anatomy, physiology, exercise, rehabilitation, medications, pathology, systemic conditions, cadaver labs, nutrition, surgery, arthrology, neurology, hydrotherapy, joint mobilizations, sports treatment, orthopedics, pregnancy, infant massage, and must conduct and present a clinical case study. RMTs must pass provincial registration exams through a regulatory college after graduation to earn the designation of Registered Massage Therapist.
Each RMT has skills and training to help you on your journey and completes ongoing training to further their skills and areas of interest.

Erin Singer
(She/Her/Hers) RMT

Erin is a Registered Massage Therapist and owner of West Coast Massage Therapy. She graduated with honors from CDI College in BC in 2018, successfully completed the BC Board Exams that same year and started her very busy practice. She moved to Calgary in 2020 and loves the year-round sunshine. Her practice utilizes a variety of techniques, education, and exercise. She focuses on athletes, concussions, neurological conditions, chronic pain, and pediatrics, although all are welcome.

Erin has been a Clinical Coordinator for CDI College in BC, implementing many outreach opportunities for students to build their skills, and firmly believes ongoing education is vital for massage therapists. She has undergone training with Pain BC, San Diego Pain Summit, NOI Group, Movement and Rehab Therapy, Cadaver Labs, Concussion Testing & Treatment and is a Red Cross First Aid Instructor.

She volunteers in the community, with the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta, and with The Pain Society of Alberta for the past 2.5 years. Erin has a black belt in Taekwondo, loves music, and baking. You can usually find her out with her 4 kids hiking, at the lake, or reading a good book!
